Advanced/Enhanced Clinical Practitioner
As an Independent, autonomous Prescribing Clinician you will be working as part of Medvivo’s multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and timely care to people accessing our Integrated Urgent Care Service during both the out of hours (OOH) and in hours period. Our Clinical Practitioners cover a variety of shifts including face-to-face assessments at our designated Primary Care Centres and supporting patients both in their own homes and remotely via telephone and video assessment.
Our Clinical Practitioners also provide remote clinical support to our Care Coordination Service, assisting ambulance crews both within the Bristol, Swindon and Wiltshire and Devon localities from our Head Office in Chippenham. Our service works to coordinate health and care services to patients and where clinically appropriate, utilise alternative pathways to emergency admission.
About the role
Our Clinical Practitioners provide OOH and in-hours care through the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge or referral of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed injury/illness, or acute exacerbation of existing conditions. You will assist in the development of an integrated approach to the delivery of patient care across the ‘whole system’ of health and social care, working in partnership with all relevant stakeholders.

About you
You will be a registered nurse, paramedic, or other allied health professional, with a non-medical prescribing qualification in the context of a broad scope of practice.
