After a 38-year career in the Post Office (management) and part-time work in retail and education, I was keen to learn more about the NHS.
For 38 years I worked in the finance and postal sectors. After retiring I worked part-time in retail and education.
During the shift I drive the out of hours doctors between appointments. In between this I catch up with the administrative side of the role. As and when required I can also be called upon to support the doctor and/or the patient.
