• Why did you choose to work for us?

  Medvivo offered a challenging and developing role for me with flexible working patterns.

• What work did you do before you joined us?

  I worked as an NP in a GP surgery seeing a range of patients with undifferential diagnoses requiring same-day appointments. I was also the surgery's Diabetes Lead Nurse.

• What do you get up to on a typical shift?

  Varied work depending on the where in the country I am based but generally involves phone triage, face-to-face appointments and home visits.

• What do you like most about working here?

  I have a supportive team.

• What has been your biggest achievement?

  I am constantly improving and developing in my role as a Nurse Practitioner. There are always new learning opportunities.

• What challenges do you face in your role?

  The job can be challenging at times but by using other NPs and GPs for support it helps you to grow and overcome challenges.

• What makes someone successful here?

  You need to be prepared to learn and develop.

• How are you supported in your role?

  Regular Nurse Practitioner meetings, also using the knowledge of other NPs and GPs you may work with.

• How does the approach to flexible working patterns suit you?

  It helps me work around the needs of my young family.

• What makes us unique as an employer?

  Being a 'private' business under the NHS umbrella allows Medvivo to make changes that are beneficial to the patient population needs as well as supporting their own staff.
